Kathleen Bryan is a retired lawyer, judge and mediator with an undergraduate degree in psychology and a Juris Doctor from UC Berkeley. After more than 40 years’ experience in the legal field, she continues to be fascinated by the intersection of law and psychology. A lifelong writer who started out as an English major, she just finished her first novel, a legal thriller tentatively titled Red Flag Warning, during a year-long writing program at The Book Incubator. She is currently sending query letters to literary agents. She lives in Southern California with her husband and Labradoodle Charley, with whom she spends a lot of time hiking nearby trails. When not writing, hiking or traveling, she is a potter and hobby wine-maker who enjoys time with her family and friends.
